Early Victorian gent...fabulous old photo. London
Unknown Victorian gentleman....studio photo by Searles Bros. of 191 Brompton Road, S.W.London.
He looks middle aged with a strange beard arrangement under his chin. He may have lost his teeth. His over jacket is seriously creased up.
His shirt is tied with a loose satin bow, he wears a waistcoat with a chain. On his right hand he has three probably Gold rings. Can just see a wedding ring on his other hand.
The overall appearance of this man is that he's quite elderly but looking closely he's possibly in his forties.
He is someones great, great, great grandad. Is he yours?

Whose families are these?
A series of old photographic studio photos of unknown families.
All of these old photos were bought 15 years ago to use primarily as shop window dressing.
We now would like to re-unite them with their descendents. Absoluteley priceless for any family archive.....check your old folks photo albums ; are these families featured there.
It never ceases to amaze me how irreplaceable old family portraits like these become lost, or sold off because no-one in the family wants them.
Look at the facial features. Are they similar to your own family. Facial features echo down the generations. My features are almost identical to my great great grandma Sarah...my sisters to our great grandma Louisa.
