Edwardian scene Bond Street London circa 1912
From bessie Daynes postcard album March 1907
Fabulous photo of Bond Street London taken in August possibly 1912.
From high above it shows road traffic which still incldes horse drawn transport and early motor cars jostling together. There is a horse drawn bus advertising Nestles' Milk...and the number of the bus is 66.
There is a shop called Sheilas that does manicures and facial massage...on the first floor. There's a car shop sign selling Daimler, Puegot and Renault. Further down a shop sign 'Glyn' and two 'To Let' signs.
What a fantastic panoramic shot all the way up Bond Street.
