Hello Sheila...the beautiful description of your grandparent's wedding was taken from a newspaper cutting I found in Florence Harvey/Champion Jone's photo album. I wonder if your mother recognises the names of any of the guests listed.
I believe there may be a few more photos of your grandfather, one in army uniform I think which I might post to the album at some point.
You can research his war record from the databases available at the genealogy websites, (for a fee!)
Thank you for contacting us. I am still hoping to find the Harvey descendents and have a huge amount of research on the family yet to do which hopefully will make the task easier.

Stuart and Florence were married on October 22nd 1920 at St. Andrews Church, Colpetty.
The wedding was described in the press :-

Those present at the wedding were Mr & Mrs Herbert B Paine, Mr & Mrs E.W.Ellis,Mr & Mrs J Mackenzie, Mrs John Walker, Mrs MacMichael, Messrs. A.T.Sydney Smith, Rupert H.Webb and P.York Champion.
I am seeking the direct descendents of Florence Harvey/Champion-Jones.
My Great Aunt Winifred on her death left a collection of personal documents and photos relating mainly to Florence. I wish to return them to her family for their family archive.
