Photo of Frederick Charles Harvey eldsect son of Frederic and Mary Ann Harvey, sister to Florence Harvey. He'd be about 18 or 19 years old.
The taller young man standing next to him is I think a young Mr Aster (forename unknown) who later went on to marry Mabel Harvey....Florence and Frederick Charles sister.

Now the guardian of the original Wills, photo albums and other original documents dating back to 1886, and left in my keeping by my great aunt,
I'm seeking direct descendents of Frederic Harvey and his daughter Florence.
Florence owned this archive, it was hers, and the mystery of how it came to be found in my deceased mother's house in Essex needs to be solved. I believe that Florence gave it to my great aunt to bring back to UK but why?
What became of Florence who was living in Sri Lanka in the 1920'/1930's. Why does the archive cease about that time?
This archive has no familial connection to my own family.

The mystery,history and Archive of the Harveys of Bristol, a wealthy Victorian family 1866 to 1937.
The mystery is how this original personal family archive belonging to Florence Harvey came to be found in my deceased mother's house in Essex ten years ago.
Florence was living in Sri Lanka in the 1930's so how did it arrive in England and why did my mother have it?
My great aunt may have brought it back to England but why was it not returned to the Harvey family?
Does this Victorian family not have descendents to whom it could have been returned?
Why do the documents,archives and photos cease about 1937 when Florence Harvey's mother died?
The Harvey family have no connection to my own family.
It is our intention to return the Harvey family archive to Florence's descendents if they can be found.
