Superb Elizabethan black and white half timbered building with shops at ground level and three further floors above.
Does this magnificent building still stand?
On the pavement in front of the mansions are four ragamuffin boys. The style of dress these boys are wearing places this photo in the Victorian era circa 1880's
The photo postcard is adressed to Mrs Johnson of Manor House Farm, Burston, Diss, Norfolk. from Emily who may be the daughter. Postmarked Shrewsbury April 11th 1905.

A photo of a Victorian Cairo ferry steamer with troops and European passengers.
On the upper deck beautifully dressed women and children and men mostly dressed in army unifrom.
Photo dates probably from the late 1800's.
On the back a message from Edie to her father Mr.W.Bond of 16 Melrose Road, Mile End Road
Norwich wishing him a happy birthday.
