Mr Aster and Mabel (nee Harvey) now a happily married couple.
I love this old photo. Regrettably I still don't have his given name. Here Mr Aster looks a dandy and very pleased with himself. Compare with his wedding day photo where he has the look of a small animal trapped in headlights. In this photo Mabel looks coy and happy and very proud to be with her husband
It's very clear that the marriage to Mabel was a good one and good for Mr Aster. I have many more old photos of the couple where the marriage remain happily together certainly up to 1938 or so.
After circa 1938-1940 the Harvey Archive ends.
It's noted that one of the photos of the Aster wedding had been torn in half. As the photo albums and archive appear to belong to Florence it's supposed that she tore it.
Florence is not present at her sister Mabel's wedding although the rest of her siblings are. What is the story here?
It's not known if the Asters had progeny, It is clear that Mabel's husband, Mr Aster did have a brother, name not known.
The history of the Harvey's of Bristol is told on my eBay blog, jeannchris.
Seeking the descendents of Frederic Harvey, his children, Florence, Mabel, Marie Louise, Maude, Courtenay and Frederic Charles. The archive belongs in their family records.
Check out the photos if you are a Jones, an Aster or a Harvey. These wonderful photos and their history as I discover it could be your own ancestral history.

The mystery, history and Archive of the Harveys of Bristol, a wealthy Victorian family 1866 to 1937.
The mystery is how this original personal family archive belonging to Florence Harvey came to be found in my deceased mother's house in Essex ten years ago.
Florence was living in Sri Lanka in the 1930's so how did it arrive in England and why did my mother have it?
My great aunt may have brought it back to England but why was it not returned to the Harvey family?
Does this Victorian family not have descendents to whom it could have been returned?
Why do the documents, archives and photos cease about 1937 when Florence Harvey's mother died?
The Harvey family have no connection to my own family.
It is our intention to return the Harvey family archive to Florence's descendents if they can be found.
Read their story on my eBay blog jeannchris and see their images here through time from 1866 to 1937.
