Unknown Victorian lady of Bristol. Circa 1890's
Studio photo by photographer Mansfield of Baldwin Chambers, Baldwin Street, Bristol.
The married Victorian lady is dressed in a typical black dress with leg of murron sleeves, high neck white lace collar with a brooch. her earrings look like Gold hollow drops typical of the period. She wears a very wide wedding ring (which looks a very tight fit on her finger - ouch)
Her age could be between 38-48.
Is this lady your ancestor?

Whose families are these?
A series of old photographic studio photos of unknown families.
All of these old photos were bought 15 years ago to use primarily as shop window dressing.
We now would like to re-unite them with their descendents. Absoluteley priceless for any family archive.....check your old folks photo albums ; are these families featured there.
It never ceases to amaze me how irreplaceable old family portraits like these become lost, or sold off because no-one in the family wants them.
Look at the facial features. Are they similar to your own family. Facial features echo down the generations. My features are almost identical to my great great grandma Sarah...my sisters to our great grandma Louisa.
