Unknown lady, child and baby c.1890's Croydon,
By the same photographer as granny Gardiner above, this lady is believed to a member of the same family...her dress looks to be early 1890's, she wears what looks like a crescent brooch at the high collar and leg o'mutton sleeves.
The little girl aged about three is holding a rather smart doll which unfortunately is not very defined. The mother is seated with her new baby on her lap.
This cabinet card (photo) by Proctor & Co, ( the embossing on the card is more ornate than the one above ) has suffered some damage to the rounded edges and bears what looks like tea stains on the surface.
I think this is a Gardiner/Bolt family member.

Whose families are these?
A series of old photographic studio photos of unknown families.
All of these old photos were bought 15 years ago to use primarily as shop window dressing.
We now would like to re-unite them with their descendents. Absoluteley priceless for any family archive.....check your old folks photo albums ; are these families featured there.
It never ceases to amaze me how irreplaceable old family portraits like these become lost, or sold off because no-one in the family wants them.
Look at the facial features. Are they similar to your own family. Facial features echo down the generations. My features are almost identical to my great great grandma Sarah...my sisters to our great grandma Louisa.
