Aster and Harvey wedding. Believe the groom is Mr Aster and bride is Mabel Harvey.circa 1910
This Edwardian wedding is between Mr Aster (nothing more is known of him to date) and Mabel Harvey, Florence, Marie Louise and Maude's sister.
The back row, standing from the left is an unknown young woman, next to her I'm pretty sure is Frederic Charles Harvey, brother. Then an unknown man, possibly an Aster. The bride and groom then Maude Harvey. Next to Maude the excellent Mr Jones, as ever gazing into the middle distance. The pretty young bridesmaid could be Miss Jones, his daughter.
Marie Louise Jones (nee Harvey) is sitting 1st left, and Mary Ann Harvey/Langmead next to her. The grooms mother is seated next to her son the groom.
Front row centre is Courtenay Harvey between the two boys. I believe that these two boys are Marie Louise and the excellent Mr Jones' sons.
All of these old photos are from Florence Harveys albums. One old photo of the bride and groom was found to be torn in half and stabbed with a sharp implement.
What does that mean? Did Florence do it and if so why?
I hope to find out in due course as their story evolves.

The mystery, history and Archive of the Harveys of Bristol, a wealthy Victorian family 1866 to 1937.
The mystery is how this original personal family archive belonging to Florence Harvey came to be found in my deceased mother's house in Essex ten years ago.
Florence was living in Sri Lanka in the 1930's so how did it arrive in England and why did my mother have it?
My great aunt may have brought it back to England but why was it not returned to the Harvey family?
Does this Victorian family not have descendents to whom it could have been returned?
Why do the documents, archives and photos cease about 1937 when Florence Harvey's mother died?
The Harvey family have no connection to my own family.
It is our intention to return the Harvey family archive to Florence's descendents if they can be found.
Read their story on my eBay blog jeannchris and see their images here through time from 1866 to 1937.
